GIG HARBOR – Motorists who use eastbound State Route 16 across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge will encounter double-lane closures during the overnight hours on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, for bridge maintenance work. Westbound SR 16 lanes will not be affected.

The eastbound lane closures will take place between hours of 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. each night.
