A limited number of sandbags are available at the Kitsap County Public Works Central, North and South Roads Shed for public use.

The locations of the facilities where the sandbags can be picked up are: North Roads, 301 Berndt Rd., Poulsbo; Central Roads, 1971 Seabeck Highway, Bremerton; South Roads, 2339 Cedar Road, Port Orchard.

The county provides sandbags to the public for flooding events and with last night’s heavy rains expected to continue today, there may be a chance of some urban flooding.

The sandbags are staged outside the gates of each shed with a limit of

20 per household.
