The EMT certification of a Port Orchard man has been suspended by the state Department of Health after he was charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with second-degree attempted rape.
Robert Q. Lemon, who is a certified emergency medical technician, had his certification revoked by the state’s Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems program. Julie Graham, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Health, said she didn’t know where he was employed as an EMT. Court records list Lemon as being unemployed.
Lemon allegedly attempted to sexually assault a 17-year-old woman, according to Superior Court records. His trial begins next month.
