Kitsap County Sheriff’s detectives are requesting help from the public in identifying burglary and theft victims in order to assist in matching owners with recently recovered stolen property, according to KCSO.
Detectives are looking for those who were victims of burglary or theft from a shed, garage or building, and who are missing certain types of tools, such as pressure washers, chainsaws, weed eaters, leaf blowers, boating equipment and generators.
Investigators are focusing on property crime victims in the general area surrounding Panther Lake West in both Kitsap and Mason counties.
Two suspects in these crimes have been identified, according to KCSO. One is presently in custody while probable cause charges are pending against the second suspect for burglary and trafficking in stolen property.
The stolen property was found and recovered from various pawn shops in Kitsap and Pierce counties.
