KINGSTON — The Sequim Wolves are only thing between the Kingston Buccaneers and a trip to the 2A state tournament.
The Bucs and Wolves were scheduled to play in the third round of the district tournament at 1 p.m., May 20, at Sprinker Fields.
The winner of the game will play for the fifth and sixth seeds to State. The loser is eliminated from Districts.
The Wolves lost to Sumner 6-4, May 18. The Wolves were undefeated in the Olympic League.
The Bucs defeated Foster 13-1, May 17. The Kingston team advanced to the second round of Districts, to play Fife. The Bucs lost 8-6 to Fife.
