KINGSTON — The Buccaneers fastpitch team held down its home field Wednesday night, sending the North Mason Bulldogs home with a loss.
The Bucs won 11-1 in a game that Bucs head coach Joe Schiel said couldn’t have gone much better. Schiel said the team “lucked out” a couple of times and did a good job of turning Bulldog mistakes into outs. On top of that, Schiel, before seeing the final stats card, said the Bucs may have finished the game with a few, or no errors.
“Life is good, isn’t it,” Schiel said while he laughed, following the game. “Life is good.”
The Bucs have a Bye March 23 and return to the field March 27 to play Port Angeles.
