A two vehicle crash on State Route 3 at milepost 42.4 near Eldorado Hill Road left one driver with serious injuries this morning.
The other driver was not seriously injured acording to Trooper Russ Winger with the Washington State Patrol. He said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The vehicles involved were a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck which rolled and landed on its top and a white-and-silver Subaru Brat.
The crash began around 6:02 a.m. when one of the two northbound vehicles tried to pass in the right lane. The vehicles collided and then rolled.
The left lane was blocked, but Winger said the wreckage was nearly cleared from the road as of 9:40 a.m.
It is unknown if alcohol was a factor. Winger said an investigation would determine if any citations would be issued.
