A 30-year-old Bremerton woman reported that her neighbor’s adult son exposed himself to her children June 22.

The woman lives on the 1500 block of Bloomington Avenue and there had been past disputes between the neighbors reported to the police including throwing trash into each other’s yard.

The 30-year-old reported at 8:23 p.m. that her neighbor’s 20-year-old son exposed his front and backside to her two children who were playing outside in the yard. She did not witness the incident but the children confirmed the incident with police and said the man opened the window that was facing the yard and began yelling obscenities at them and then pulled down his pants.

The man was no longer present at the residence and his mother said she was not aware of the incident and defended her son to police saying that the children always come onto her yard and yell profanities. The next day she spoke to an officer and said after talking to her son, he did not admit or deny the accusations and that he was “extremely upset” with the ongoing conflict with the neighbors.
