Big changes

in bus schedules

Bus schedules are available at the North Kitsap School District Web site at www.nkschools.org.

Kingston High School and Kingston Middle School bus routes have been split (with a couple exceptions), so when checking on schedules for this year, verify it’s the correct route (schedules for the high school and middle school are separate documents).

Kindergarten students enrolled all day ride the regular elementary school buses to and from school. Morning and afternoon kindergarteners use the regular elementary bus stops for the beginning or end of day.

Half-day students who elect to use the bus midday will be put on a route made up of other kindergarteners. Drivers will contact families with the location (generally same as the morning or afternoon location on the regular elementary bus routes) and times between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2.

For questions and concerns, contact the NKSD Transportation office at (360) 394-2880 or nktrans@nkschools.org. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
