KINGSTON — There are eight afternoon ferry departures from the Kingston ferry terminal for July 30.
Departures are: 12:50 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 8:20 p.m., 9:40 p.m. and 11:05 p.m.
The 12:50 p.m. sailing was full before noon, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. The 2:30 p.m. sailing had about 180 spaces available at about noon.
The ferry route is on a one-boat schedule due to the Tacoma being taken out of service on the Seattle-Bainbridge route, July 29. The Puyallup, which is typically used for Edmonds-Kingston, was moved south to provide more service to the Seattle-Bainbridge route.
