The Kitsap Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Poulsbo Library in the lower level. The public is invited to attend.
The program will be “John Muir and the Wilderness Act at 50.”
Sierra Club historian Ron Eber will talk about the legacy of John Muir and other leaders who laid the groundwork for preservation of all our national wilderness and the Wilderness Act of 1964.
