KINGSTON — Applications are being accepted for vacancies on the Kingston Citizens Advisory Council and the Kingston Ferry Advisory Committee.

These advisory groups provide input on community planning to the Board of County Commissioners and other county departments and serve as important lines of communications between the community, the county, and in other state agencies such as Washington State Ferries.

The council meets 7-9 p.m. the first Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October and December, at North Kitsap Fire & Rescue headquarters. The ferry committee meets according to current needs.
