Bayside Church is partnering with Run To Win (www.runtowin.org) to offer a summer outreach in the form of a soccer camp held at Kingston High School. The goal is to connect with families in the North Kitsap area who might not attend Vacation Bible School but would be part of a sports-related activity.
The camp will take place from 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday through Thursday, July 14-16, at the new Kingston High School turf field. Early registration is important. Registration forms will be available online at www.baysidecommunitychurch.org, starting in June, on the “Parent 2 Parent” page of the Web site. Forms will also be available at the Bayside Church office from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
The cost is $50 per child. Each child will receive a T-shirt and soccer ball. Some funds for scholarships have been set aside to aid families who may need assistance. No experience in soccer is required and this event is open to all boys and girls in grades 1-6.
Run To Win is an experienced organization that has 20-plus years of developing sports camps for kids. Parents and others can participate even if you don’t know anything about the sport. There are many other supportive ways to assist in various levels of involvement.
