Interclub skating at Ice Center

The Bremerton Figure Skating Club will host the Pacific Northwest Interclub Championships (PNIC) at the Bremerton Ice Center Aug. 3-5.

More than 300 figure skaters will compete. The event, which is free for spectators, will feature 103 different events from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Kitsap Bank earnings report

Port Orchard based Kitsap Bank announced its earnings for the first half of 2012. The quarter ending June 30 showed the strongest performance in the last 17 quarters with profits up 10 percent.

According to marketing director Shannon Childs, Kitap Bank remains “highly liquid” with total cash exceeding $100 million.

Kitsap Bank operates 21 locations throughout Western Washington. Kitsap Bank has been named a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Association.

New KRL mobile site

Kitsap Regional Library now has a dedicated website for users of mobile devices.

Accessing www.KRL.org with a mobile device now goes directly to a website designed especially for the smaller screens of those devices. The mobile home page offers direct links to the catalog and library account, in addition to the library’s collection of downloadable eBooks.
