POULSBO — Paula Rimmer is Martha & Mary’s new director of development.

She succeeds Rob Gelder, who was appointed to the Kitsap County Commission in March.

Rimmer was associate director of the Seattle Opera since 2004 and was that organization’s lead staff member for planned giving and major gifts.

Rimmer has a degree in theater/speech and political science from Cornell College in Iowa. She and her husband reside on Bainbridge.
