• A 36-year-old Bremerton woman was charged with violation of a civil anti-harassment order. She was not allowed to contact her neighbors, but she allegedly sprayed her neighbors with water from a garden hose May 22, then yelled that she was going to “get a stick and start raising hell.” The woman then allegedly came out with two 5-foot-long plastic poles with ropes attached to the ends, and used them like a fly fisherman to try and hit her neighbors.

• An 18-year-old Silverdale man was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or deliver. A security guard at Clearwater Casino told deputies two men were detained for minor-in-possession for smoking marijuana May 24. A deputy found 54 Xanax pills, 30 green-and-yellow pills and marijuana inside the car.

• A 26-year-old Bremerton woman was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A Bremerton Police officer observed a man with a felony warrant riding in a vehicle and attempted to pull the vehicle over. The 26-year-old female driver, however, kept driving. She eventually pulled the car over and officers arrested the felony subject. The woman gave the officer permission to search her and a meth pipe was found. The woman was arrested and asked, “why did you search me?” The officer said because she gave her consent. “You coerced me by asking me. I have rights,” the woman replied. The officer said she did have rights, which is why he asked for her consent. “I should have said no. I will say ‘no’ the next time,” the woman said.

• A 26-year-old Bremerton man was charged with DUI after a state patrol trooper observed him allegedly drive a Honda Accord 42 mph in a 30 mph zone with a broken tail light. The trooper pulled the man over and smelled marijuana in the car and saw two small children asleep in the back seat. The man did not have a driver’s license. An open can of beer was in the cup holder. His BAC was .01 but the trooper determined by the field sobriety test and the man’s lethargy that he was under the influence of marijuana.

•  William Howard Thompson, 40, of Bremerton, was charged with rape of a child. Bail was set at $250,000.

• A 34-year-old Bremerton man was charged with assault in the fourth degree after he got into an argument with someone and threatened to cut their throat and then put then put the victim into a headlock.

• A 27-year-old Keyport man was charged with assault in the third degree and felony harassment – threat to kill. The man was allegedly speeding on Kitsap Way in Bremerton May 26 and fled from a pursuing Bremerton Police officer who tried to stop him. The man eventually pulled over. The man allegedly had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. The man resisted arrest and “made several threats to kill me and ruin my family financially,” the officer wrote. The man was jailed without bail.
