Rep. Young to talk about carrier bridge idea during telephone town hall

Rep. Jesse Young, R-Gig Harbor, will host a telephone town hall on Monday, April 27 from 6-7 p.m. All 26th Legislative District residents are welcome to join Young for the hour-long telephone "town hall" event to discuss state legislative issues.

Rep. Jesse Young, R-Gig Harbor, will host a telephone town hall on Monday, April 27 from 6-7 p.m. All 26th Legislative District residents are welcome to join Young for the hour-long telephone “town hall” event to discuss state legislative issues.

“I am looking forward to hearing from the people of the 26th District and answering their questions on the budget, education funding, the economy and all of the issues important to our community,” Young said in a press statement.

Young also noted he is looking forward to providing more information on his Puget Sound Armed services Legacy Memorial (PSALM) study that has drawn international attention for its innovative proposal to repurpose the mothballed aircraft carriers housed at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard into a new bridge across Sinclair Inlet.
