The Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue’s newest firefighter-paramedic will take the oath of office at the beginning of the district’s board of commissioners meeting at 4 p.m. Monday.

The meeting will be at the district’s administration building, 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road in Silverdale.

Terrance Lofgreen will take the oath and be given his badge in front of the commissioners and other district administrators.

Also on the agenda is a report on grants and a report on expenses for November 2013. Commissioners and Chief Scott Weninger are expected to make months;y reports as well as representatives of the IAFF Local 2819, the firefighter’s union.

The meeting is open to the public and there is a public comment time at the end of the meeting.
