Thyler Feldbush is representing Central Kitsap in the 2016 3A Boys State Tennis Singles Championships, May 27-28 at Kamiakin High School and the Tri City Court Club. He faces Eli Fonseca of Lakeside in the first round.

Tye Loan of Olympic faces Diego Villarreal of Othello on May 27 in the first round of the 2016 2A Boys State Tennis Singles Championships at Nordstrom Tennis Center.

Cayden Haga and Taylor Fite of Klahowya face Alberto Quezada and Orfil Olmos of Entiat on May 27 in the first round of the 2016 1B/2B/1A Boys State Tennis Doubles Championships, at the Yakima Tennis Center.

Sarah Casias of Bremerton faces Catherine Michelutti of Squalicum, and Marissa Nemeth of Olympic faces Danya Wallis of North Kitsap, on May 27 in the first round of the 2016 2A Girls State Tennis Singles Championships at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.

Local schools are well-represented in the State Track & Field Championships May 26-28. Divisions 1B, 2B, and 1A compete at Eastern Washington University in Cheney. 2A, 3A and 4A compete at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.

Bremerton has individual athletes or teams in 10 events; Olympic, 15; and Central Kitsap, 12.
