POULSBO — Slippery Pig Brewery has been creating its unique brews at a farm on the edge of Poulsbo since 2011. Now, the microbrewery is looking to slide its operation into downtown.
The City of Poulsbo has received a conditional use permit application from Slippery Pig Brewery, currently located at 932 Slippery Pig Way, off Finn Hill Road.
The brewery has applied to relocate its micro-brewing operation to 18801 Front St., near Young Street and Queen Sonia Vei, in downtown Poulsbo. The application states that in addition to brewing beer, the new location will include beer tasting, live music and may also feature sales of farm products.
Public comment will be accepted by the city’s planning department until May 15. Comments can be submitted to the planning department at city hall, or by email to planninginfo@cityofpoulsbo.com.
