SEABECK – No one was injured by a fire that broke out underneath a Seabeck mobile home at 10:27 p.m. on May 7.

Residents noticed smoke coming from underneath the home, located in the 15000 block of Foggy Mountain Lane. The residents removed plywood skirting around the base of the home and used garden hoses to spray water on the fire until Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue firefighters arrived.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and confirmed that there was no extension into other parts of the home.

Two dogs that also live there were outside and safe.

The County Fire Marshal was called out and the preliminary investigation indicates the cause was electrical.

The Bremerton Fire Department also responded.
