INDIANOLA — Two men were arrested last week for burglary of a construction site in Silverdale the week before.

Casey Dickerson, 37 was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 9, for burglary and possession of stolen property, and Jacob Morley, 38, was arrested the same day for burglary by Kitsap County Sheriff officers.

Kerry Chamberlin, owner of FPH Construction, reported a robbery no longer in progress at 202 NW Myhre Road, Suite 210, Silverdale on Nov. 8 at 8:54 a.m. He reported that someone had taken the building’s master key from the construction site lock box, without damaging it, and stolen copper pipping, a computer external hard drive and a couple of boxes of DVDs from a storage unit used by Joshua Rieland, the son of the building’s owner, Harold Rieland. The suspects attempted to take a gun safe but were unsuccessful.

Two suspects are seen in the building’s surveillance videos on Oct. 27 between 1:41-2:41 a.m., carrying items from the storage unit. Three employees of the job site identified two Bird Electric employees, Jake Morley and Casey Dickerson, as the suspects by their body sizes, mannerisms and clothing, according to the report.

The next day, Sheriff Deputy Lee Watson arrested Dickerson at his home near Indianola on Nov. 9. He and another deputy searched the home and found the camouflaged jacket a suspect was wearing, and two guitars that had been in Joshua Rieland’s storage unit. Rieland confirmed two of his guitars were missing that he previously didn’t notice. Dickerson confirmed he had been at the site with his brother-in-law, Jake Morley.

Watson also arrested Morley at his home in Indianola later that day. Morley confirmed he drove Dickerson to the site and went inside, but denied taking anything.

Dickerson was booked in Kitsap County Jail with a $40,000 bail; Morley was booked into Kitsap County Jail with a $30,000 bail.
