Health care policy internships opening

Up to three qualified students will be selected for the internships and notified in late January

Internships for spring and summer 2015 at the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) will provide graduate and professional degree students the opportunity to work on the cutting edge of statewide health care policy.

HCA operates both the Medicaid program and Public Employees Benefits Board Program, providing health coverage to more than 2 million state residents.

The spring and summer internships are scheduled for:

Spring: March 30 to June 12, 2015

Summer: June 22 to Aug. 21, 2015

Up to three qualified students will be selected for the internships and notified in late January. Interns will work in the HCA headquarters in Olympia, with flexibility around the successful applicants’ school or personal schedules.
