SUQUAMISH — Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort is inviting guests to celebrate responsibly with a program encouraging revelers to designate a sober driver for the evening of New Year’s Eve.

Beginning at 5 p.m., guests who decide to be designated drivers for the night will be given the opportunity to sign a “Clearly Responsible Celebrating” pledge card.  For every guest who signs and returns a pledge card, the casino will donate $50 to the Kitsap County Chapter of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD), up to $1,500.

“We are excited about implementing a program that encourages all our guests to celebrate responsibly. Last year was so successful, we were given the approval to make it an annual offering,” said Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort Marketing Director Chris Archunde.

The program is only available to guests of age 21 or older. Completed pledge cards will be turned in at the security dodium in the casino when the guest and their group depart for the night.

The casino is operated by Port Madison Enterprises, an agency of the Suquamish Tribe that develops community resources while promoting the economic and social welfare of the Suquamish Tribe through commercial activities.
