Bremerton’s favorite daughters, the all-female AC/DC tribute rockers Hell’s Belles, are home to play an all-ages show at the Charleston at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 10. Saturday night’s line up also includes Artimus Maximus.
This year marks the Hell’s Belles’ 10th year of celebrating AC/DC live and with a furious passion. Lisa B, Adrian “Angus” Conner, Jamie Nova, Mandy Reed-Leinenweber and Melodie Zapata want everyone with the same devotion for AC/DC to revel in the amazing prowess of one of rock’s greatest all-time offerings.
The band was formed in early 2000, when two musicians, Om Johari and Amy Stoltzenbach, deemed themselves the Hell’s Belles. Inspired by their mutual devotion to AC/DC and their commitment to leveling the rock and roll gender playing field, they assembled an all-female group of equally talented and like-minded female musicians to play AC/DC anywhere and everywhere people wanted them to.
AC/DC is the primary objective and the all-inclusive nature of rock is the grand unifier; for more information, visit www.hellsbelles.info. WU
