Dr. Carson’s talk of truth at breakfast

To those who may live under a pile of rocks in the vast Atacama Desert and haven’t heard of Dr. Benjamin Carson and his 30-minute guest speaker appearance at the National Prayer Breakfast last week, this letter is for you.

To those who may live under a pile of rocks in the vast Atacama Desert and haven’t heard of Dr. Benjamin Carson and his 30-minute guest speaker appearance at the National Prayer Breakfast last week, this letter is for you.

Part 1: Dr. Carson spoke, with President Obama seated next to him, of God, the future of our Nation and other small matters. In the span of 30 minutes, he touched on the importance of developing a well-educated electorate. He laid bare the consequences of fiscal irresponsibility.

As the head of the pediatric neurosurgical unit at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he put forth a streamlined solution to our health care quandary. He discussed the need for and offered a solution for a simplified tax code.

Nearing wrap-up time, with arms outstretched, he asked: Why can the bald eagle fly so high, so fast, so beautifully? Because he has two wings. A left wing and a right wing. Dr. Carson concluded to a standing ovation.

Part 2: Predictably, the left-wingers are aghast!  Dr. Carson dared to speak the truth. He spoke for 30 minutes with total disregard for politically correct buzzwords and mushball phrases. And he did it while standing right next to the President.

The mainstream media is dazed and confused by this powerful new conservative presence appearing out of the mist. So now their spin machine gyros are screaming on their smoking bearings as left-wing editors prepare to tell us how to think and what to feel.

If you think you can handle the truth, look up Dr. Benjamin Carson’s National Prayer Breakfast talk on the Internet and dare to make up your own mind.
