Richard Lee Fewel, 85, of Bremerton, died March 18, 2013, in Bremerton.

Dick was born on Oct. 4, 1927 in Calhoun, Mo., to Raymond P. and Vesta Fewel. He grew up in Calhoun and San Benito, Texas, before moving to Port Orchard where he graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1945.

Dick married Marjorie M. Lauzon on May 19, 1949. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also enjoyed bowling and golf.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; daughter, Susan Fewel Bakker; and numerous grandchildren and great-grand children.

Services are 1 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Rill Tribute Center, with burial following at Sunset Lane Memorial Park. An online memorial is at www.rill.com.
