Steven Craig Manning died Sept. 9, 2003 in Kingston. He was 57.
Manning was born to Lavaun and Louise Manning on Feb. 26, 1946 in Seattle.
He married Sherry Manning on Aug. 31, 1996 in Reno, Nev.
Manning graduated from Sealth High School.
He was in the Army from 1965-1971 and worked for Carpenter Tec Construction.
Manning was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors and companionship that the sport brought. He was at his happiest on a boat on Elliott Bay or wading the many rivers of Western Washington pursuing that catch of a lifetime.
Manning is survived by spouse Sherry Dowdy Manning of Kingston; sons Scott (Tanya) Manning of Seattle and Clifford (Jamie) Gooby of Poulsbo; daughters Laura (Jeremy) Young of Bothell; mother Louise (Tom) Alexander; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at a future date.
