Charles E. Cundiff of Poulsbo died Nov. 11, 2007 in Seattle. He was 81.
Cundiff was born to Roy Cundiff and Ruth Lorton in Webb City, Okla. on Dec. 27, 1925.
He married Dolores Dambly in May 1950.
Cundiff worked as a banker at Old National Bank of Washington and in real estate with Spot Realty and Prudential until he turned 80. He enlisted in the Navy at 17, and served on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. He was recalled to duty in 1950 on a destroyer during the Korean War. He worked in civil services at Keyport until he retired in 1986.
Cundiff enjoyed the athletic events of his grandchildren.
Cundiff is survived by his wife Dolores of Poulsbo; sons Dustin of Poulsbo and Denton (Sara) of Poulsbo; daughter DeMaris of Seattle; brothers Richard (Ellie) of Bremerton and Allen (Carol) of Arizona; sister Mary (Will) of Bremerton; grandchildren Chad, Codie, Zach and Ben (Melissa); great-grandchild Armand; and family friend Gayl TenEyck (Chuck).
A Cundiff’s request, there will be no services held.
