Ethel Mae (Callaham) Lukin, 74

Ethel Mae (Callaham) Lukin of Hansville died Aug. 23, 2007. She was 74.

Lukin was born to Hayden and Margarite Callaham in Winslow on Sept. 20, 1932.

She married Nick Lukin in 1963.

She graduated from Bainbridge Island High School in 1951.

She worked as a homemaker, a sales clerk at Viking Drug and Montgomery Wards, and later as kitchen staff at Island Lake and Crista Shores.

Lukin enjoyed gardening, needle crafts and doing seek-n-search puzzles. She was a member of the Silverdale Baptist Church, Island Center Orthopedic Guild, of the Grand Court and the Order of the Amaranth.

Lukin is survived by her husband Nick Lukin; her sister Jackie West of Bainbridge Island; stepsons Jerry (Karen) and Melvin; stepdaughter Nicolyn; and several stepgrandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by The Stone Chapel.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 5 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
