James Robert Mey, 82, passed away on Dec. 1, 2015. He was born April 17, 1933. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Colleen, his son Robert, daughter Jeanine Hurts, two granddaughters, five great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Jim proudly served 22 years in the Army National Guard as a MSGT-E-8. He worked as a supervisor at PSNS as a nuclear component cleaner foreman. Jim was a Senior Saints Leader and Tour Guide for the Silverdale United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Silverdale United Methodist Church.
