Former Poulsbo resident Raymond D. Clohessey died Feb. 19 in Sequim after a prolonged illness.
He was born in 1927 in Bottineau, N. Dak.
He served in the U.S. Navy and the Coast Guard before moving to the Poulsbo area where he lived until moving to Alaska to work in a logging camp and do some commercial fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie.
He is survived by a step-daughter, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was buried in the Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.
