Theresa Mitchell died July 31. She was 67.

Born Oct. 23, 1942, she Mitchell graduated from Lancaster High School in Ohio and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

She was married for 43 years to Charles B. Mitchell, she lived in Eglon and Hansville since 1979.

Mitchell respected and admired aspects of Jewish culture and requested that the family sit shiva in her memory. This memorial is private, but the survivors ask that friends take a few moments to remember Mitchell during from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 7.

She is survived by her husband charles Mitchell; daughters Caitlin Hamer and Glynis Mitchell; and grandson Roscoe Hamer. Donations can be made to Hospice of Kitsap County.
