Ray Malonson of Hansville died Jan. 25, 2007. He was 80.
Malonson was born in Jersey City, N.J. on May 31, 1926.
He married Marian Minnick.
Malonson graduated from Middletown Township High School and Providence College.
He worked as chaplain at the District of Columbia Jail, the Church Council of Greater Seattle and the University Unitarian Church.
Malonson served in the U.S. Navy, in the South Pacific.
He enjoyed fishing and being an art docent at Wolfle Elementary School.
Malonson is survived by Marian Malonson of Hansville; his brother John (Mildred) in Middletown, N.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Malonson was preceded in death by his sister Lois Martineau.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. on Feb. 3, 2007 at St. Cecilia Church on Bainbridge Island.
