Kenneth Dean Leiter died Dec. 3, 2007 at Harrison Medical Center. He was 78.

Mr. Leiter was born on May 27, 1929. He was a lifelong resident of Kitsap County. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and camping. He will be missed by dear friends and loved ones who will miss the long talks with him.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Billie and Jimmie Leiter of Bremerton.

Survivors include three sons Randy Leiter of Bremerton, and Donnie Leiter and Ricky Leiter of Oregon; sister Irene Bray of Sacramento, Calif.; daughters Connie Crummer of Keyport and Rose Ellis of Oregon; grandson Richard Leiter of Bremerton; granddaughters Kelly Crummer of Silverdale, Jennifer Crummer of Bremerton and Lanaia Leiter of Port Orchard; and great-grandson Nickolas Olmsted of Silverdale.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Family Worship Center, 5155 McCormick Woods Way, Port Orchard.
