Geraldine “Jerry” Francis Kirkman of Poulsbo, died May 31. She was 79.

Kirkman was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Astoria, Ore., to Carl and Jennie (Kary) Maki. A 1948 graduate of Ilwaco High School, she married Robert “Bud” Kirkman on April 23, 1949.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her son Tom Kirkman; daughters Teresa (Don) Hamilton and Nancy (Craig) Breuer; grandchildren Kelley (Nate) Walters, Jarrod (Katie) Hamilton, Robert Kirkman, Leslie, Ashley and Cory Breuer; Joe (Cheryl) Kirkman and Athena Kirkman; and great-grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Shelby, and Bobby.

A funeral mass was June 4 at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church.
