Dorothy L. Ferber, 76

Kingston resident Dorothy Louise Ferber died Sept. 11, 2005 in Kingston. She was 76.

Ferber was born to Rolla and Hazel (Stephens) Hartzell in Overland, Mo. on Aug. 17, 1929.

She married John F. Ferber on Aug. 23, 1952 in Webster Groves, Mo.

Ferber graduated from Festus High School in Festus, Mo. in 1947 and graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in St. Louis, Mo. in 1950.

She was a registered nurse in general practice. She was a member of the Bellevue Municipal Women’s Golf Club. She enjoyed golfing.

Ferber is survived by her husband John F. Ferber of Kingston; sons Stephen (Susan Trabucco) Ferber of Astoria, Ore.; daughters Debra (Larry) Anderson of Kingston, Peggy Ferber of Cave Creek, Ariz. and Sallie Millard of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.

There will be no services. She will be cremated. Memorial donations can be sent to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416 Silverdale, WA 98383.
