Together in marriage for over 40 years, both Austin and Maia Skeisvold, Hansville, died following a car accident; Maia on April 18 and Austin on May 7.

They raised their daughters in the North Beach neighborhood of Seattle and moved to Hansville in 1998 to live in the home Austin built. They loved the peacefulness of the surroundings. Maia spoke often of the friends she made in the area and Austin enjoyed the views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains.

They are survived by daughters Irene (John) Austvold and Karen Skeisvold, engaged to Jeff Francisco and grandchildren Sophia Angela Austvold and Maia Kathrine Austvold, who was born on May 8.

A memorial service will be held May 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
