Roger J. Kirkpatrick, 40
Roger Jess Kirkpatrick died in Poulsbo Nov. 12, 2003. He was 40.
He was born to Diane Sweat in Medford, Ore. on Sept. 3, 1963.
Kirkpatrick married Pamela J. Kirkpatrick May 18, 1991 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
He graduated from Wapato High School in Wapato in 1982.
Kirkpatrick served in the US Marine Corps from 1983-1987; owned Autumn Pond Bed and Breakfast in Leavenworth from 1996-1998; and operated a home-based transportation brokerage firm from 1996 until his death.
Kirkpatrick enjoyed being a real cowboy, fishing, practical jokes and his family.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Kirkpatrick of Poulsbo; son Kyler Kirkpatrick of Poulsbo; daughter Kelsey Kirkpatrick of Poulsbo; brothers Phil (Shelley) Bjornson of Wapato, Dana Wise of Wapato and Johan Overland of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters Marilee Hancock of Wenatchee, Denise Carpenter of Hoquiam and Cindy Prigge of Spokane; and mother Diane Sweat of Dryden.
A memorial celebration will be held 4 p.m. Nov. 23 at Vinland Elementary School.
