Linda Rose Olson-Hawthorn

Linda Rose Olson-Hawthorn passed away March 26, 2014 in Port Townsend, Washington.

She was born in 1947 in Darby, Montana. During her lifetime, Linda lived in Montana, Oregon, Alaska, and throughout Washington, always making a home wherever she settled and touching lives of those around her with her fabulous sense of humor, her sometimes crazy ways, her smile and her love.

In 2002, Linda married her husband Fred Hawthorn and they settled in Sultan, Washington for several years.

Linda (Mama, Grandma, Auntie) will be very much missed by many, including her husband, Fred; her cherished children, Mike Olson of Anchorage, Alaska, and Michelle Robinson (Greg) of Huntersville, N.C.; her sisters, Jan Whitaker (Dave), Margaret Johnsonm and Denise Algie; her grandsons, Philip, James, Landon, Seth, and Matthew; her granddaughter, Hannah; as well as her nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews, and so many more friends and family whose lives, in some way or another, have been deeply touched and greatly enriched by Linda.

Always remember, Linda would want nothing more than to hear each of us tell a story or a memory of her and laugh and to know that she will forever be laughing with us.
