Edith F. (Charman) Hade

of Kingston died Jan. 23. She was 72.

Hade was born to Hilda and William Charman in Kent, England, in 1935. She immigrated to the United States in 1958

and lived many years on Long Island, N.Y.

Hade moved to Washington in 1987. She had a great love for the beauty of the state.

Hade is survived by six children, Joseph Hade of Shelton, Donna Galloway of Woodbine, Ga., Teresa Curcio of Kingston, Sharon Hade of St. Marys, Ga., Raymond Hade of Woodbine, Ga., and Allison Murray of Folkston, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Doreen Costen and Gladys Charman of Kent, England; as well as one brother, Leonard Charman of Lancs, England.
