Phyllis L. Rayment, 81

Phyllis L. Rayment of Kingston died March 8, 2007 in Seattle of a massive stroke. She was 81.

Rayment was born to Ann and Robert Prante in Elma on Sept. 25, 1925.

Rayment married Leon F. Rayment. They lived in Kirkland,until 1972 when they moved to Kingston.

She owned Phyllis’s Cameo Beauty Shop in Kingston for many years. Rayment enjoyed ocean beaches, razor clam digging, old TV shows, people, friends and her cats.

Rayment is survived by her sons Rick (Kathy) of Poulsbo, Dennis Mooney of Snohomish; daughter Berta (Scott) Oliphant of Kingston; brother Alvin (Lorna) Prante of Tillamook, Ore.; sister Betty Ortquist of Elma; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leon and brother Nolan.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. March 13 at Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
