Kenneth Settle, 84

Former Poulsbo resident Kenneth Vern Settle died April 19, 2007 in Bend, Ore. He was 84.

Settle was born to Oscar and Myrtle Settle in Tujunga, Calif. on Sept. 7, 1922.

He married Virginia Felder on June 12, 1948 in Everett.

He graduated from Washington State University.

He served in the Air Force during World War II and was a rehabilitation administrator with Washington state until his retirement in 1987.

He enjoyed hiking, camping and woodworking.

Settle is survived by his wife Virginia of Bend, Ore; and daughter Anne of Seattle.

Settle was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

Memorial gifts may be sent to the High Desert Museum or another charity of the donor’s choosing.
