Frank L. Milward, 85

Poulsbo resident Frank L. Milward died Sept. 22, 2005 in Bremerton. He was 85.

Milward was born to Frank and Ellen Milward in Hoquiam on March 7, 1920.

He married Majorie Cherry on Sept. 17, 1948 in Aloha.

He graduated from Moclips High School and the New Mexico School of Mines.

Milward worked as a dam builder for Corps of Engineers in Pomroy retiring in 1980 and previously was a logger and drove grave hack at Aloha Lumber.

He also was a veteran of World War II.

He enjoyed reading, watchmaking and gardening and was a member of the Watchmaker’s Association.

Milward is survived by wife Marjorie Milward of Poulsbo; sons Frank Milward of Eatonville, Douglas Milward of Olympia, Steve Milward of Bellingham and Jim Milward of Union; sisters Doris Shusta and Frances Milward; and a grandson.

No services will be held.
