Leonard S. Langager, 81

Leonard S. Langager of Kingston died Oct. 5, 2004 in Bremerton. He was 81.

Langager was born on Feb. 11, 1923 in Veblen, South Dakota to Sigvart and Elizabeth (Anderson) Langager.

He married Elaine Lohre on Jan. 11, 1946 in Lake City.

Langager worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Snohomish Water Department for 15 years. He also worked with the Civil Conservation Corp.

He enjoyed small engine repair and was a member of the Lynnwood Eagles.

Langager is survived by his wife Elaine (Lohre) Langager of Kingston; sons Richard (Connie) Langager of Cle Elum, Doug (Betty Lou) Langager and David Langager of Suquamish; daughters Lois (Don) Culton of Yakima, Joyce (Lanny) Black of Kingston and Libby (Kevin) Christie of Kingston; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sigvart and Elizabeth (Anderson) Langager; son Leonard S. Langager; brother Selmar Langager; and sister Millie Laubach.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 12 at Faith Lutheran Church in Kingston. Cremation will follow at Cherry Grove Crematory.
