Lavonne Harvey, 64

Poulsbo resident Lavonne Harvey died May 23, 2005 in Poulsbo. She was 64.

She was born to Robert C. and Edna L. (Hembree) Thompson in Prairie Grove, Ark. on Feb. 15, 1941.

Harvey worked as a nurse in health care for 30 years before retiring in 2001.

She enjoyed crafts, knitting, sewing and painting. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Snickers and her grandchildren.

Harvey is survived by her sons Richard Reeves and Rodger Reeves, both of Fort Smith, Ark.; daughter Janiece Gibbs of Port Orchard; sisters Helen Kassa of Marysville and Virginia Ward of Forth Smith, Ark.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

At her request, no services will be held. She will be cremated at Cherry Grove Crematory.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove, 22272 Foss Road NE, Poulsbo.
