Elizabeth J. Northon of Poulsbo died May 26 in Bremerton. She was 87.

Northon was born to Edward and Elizabeth (Lake) Northon in Minnewauken, N.D. on Nov. 27, 1915.

She married Leslie W. Northon in 1947 in California.

Northon graduated from Minnewauken High School in Minnewauken, N.D. in 1932.

She was a homemaker.

Northon was a very accomplished piano player and had been playing since the age of 3. She was a member of the Garden Club and loved to take care of her family. She was an Episcopal.

Northon is survived by her son Rick (Catherine) Northon of Poulsbo, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Northon; son Lee Northon; brother Vernon Carlin; and sisters Irene J. Eastman, Bonnie Edwardson and Vivian Bray.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. June 4 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo with cremation to take place at Cherry Grove Crematory.
