Leroy Moberly, 49

Leroy Moberly of Poulsbo died Feb. 25, 2004. He was 49.

Moberly was born on May 8, 1954 in Wayne, Mich. to Donald Ray and Caroline (Demitross) Moberly.

He married Yook Nonsakhoo Dec. 2, 1983 in Bremerton.

Moberly served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 until 1994, achieving the rank of E-6. After retiring, he worked in the warehouse and shipping department for Sage on Bainbridge Island for 10 years.

He enjoyed going to the beach, playing on his computer and taking long drives.

He is survived by his wife Yook Moberly of Poulsbo; mother Caroline Thompson of Louisville, Tenn.; stepson John Nonsakhoo of Poulsbo; stepdaughters Julie Courtney of Poulsbo and Lois Lane of Poulsbo; sister Laura Fognini; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Moberly.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. March 3 at the Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
