Maxine I. Kallgren, 94

Suquamish resident Maxine I. Kallgren died March 24, 2006 in Suquamish. She was 94.

Kallgren was born to David Sinclair and Isable Gunn in Alberta, Canada on Jan. 23, 1912.

She married C.C. Kallgren.

Kallgren graduated from high school in Taft, Texas in 1928.

She is survived by son Jerry Yancey of Tacoma; daughter Norine Oliphant of Suquamish; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held May 14, 2006 in Suquamish. Inurment will be at Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton.
