Wendy Avon Ferguson, formerly of Kingston, died April 28 in Bothel. She was 42.

She was born Jan. 11, 1968, in Bellingham. Ferguson was a 1986 graduate of Woodinville High School and operated a successful business with her former husband in Kingston.

Ferguson was preceded in death by grandfather Carl L. Bush and nephew Jesse Jaryn McDougall.

She is survived by her son Max McKinley Ferguson; her daughter Hayley Avon Ferguson; mother and stepfather Katy and RIck Ahlstedt; father John McDougall; grandmother Marjorie Bush; brothers; John and Art McDougal; stepsisters Lisa and Tracy Ahlstedt; stepbrother Jeff (Cindy); and uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave., Marysville.
